Catching up

I'm really bad at being constant at anything. It's a problem I have so I'm very sorry that the last time I updated anything was over a year ago. It's sad because are life is actually very eventful (most of the time) and I do like to let everyone know what we're up to. But I promise from now on I will try and keep our life up to date on here. Especially since I'm home most of the day I have a lot more time to do this. So just a recap of all the things that we've been up to.

We moved to San Diego!!!

Nick left for deployment mid December and was not expected to return until early July. Until he scared the crap out of me when he surprised me by coming home on Feb. 5 at 10:30 at night!! I almost slashed him with the samuri sword. But it's been WONDERFUL having him home. We've done a bunch of fun things since he's been home. We took Evie to a Valentine's Dance they had at the rec center in our neighborhood. Below are a few pictures, she went with a neighborhood friend Gabbie and INSISTED on wearing her Cinderella dress because she said she was going to a "ball."

We also went to Legoland which is just about 45 minutes north of us in Carlsbad, CA. Evie had a blast Evie though she wasn't feeling so great that day. She had a low grade fever all morning :-( but she still had a lot of fun.

They also have a really fun Children's Museum the we went to last weekend.

So that's a short recap of our lives. Nick will be home until March 12 and then will head back to Bahrain until July. In the meantime we will be moving into a 3 bedroom house in the same neighborhood to get ready for new baby Miller to arrive in August. And I will really try and update this more often.
